Membership and payment
Price, gifts, founding membership and changing your plan.
Founding member prices start at ฿249 a month in Thailand, and $18 a month in other countries, on the 12-month plan. You keep that price for as long as you stay a member. You can see the price of every plan on the subscribe page.
Postage. The envelope is exactly the same — same letter, same 8–10 art prints, same paper. Sending it inside Thailand is cheap and we do not charge you for it. Sending it abroad is airmail, and most of the difference between ฿249 and $18 a month is that cost. Nothing is added for being outside Thailand.
Only the first 100 subscribers get founding prices — ฿249 a month instead of ฿381. Pay by card and you keep ฿249 for as long as you stay. If you stop, or join later, you pay ฿381.
Yes. You can give a gift of three or six months, at our normal price. A gift does not renew by itself, so you will never be charged again. You pay first. Then you add their address and a short note. Their first letter arrives in an envelope addressed by hand.
Yes, at any time from your account. If you cancel, you will still receive any letters you have already paid for.
No. Gifts and single issues are always at our normal price. Founding prices are only for 3, 6 and 12-month subscriptions.

Posting and delivery
When it leaves Bangkok, where it travels and what happens if it is lost.
Your first envelope ships within 1-2 weeks of subscribing in Thailand, or 2-3 weeks by standard airmail internationally. After that, a new letter goes out on the 2nd Monday of every month.
Anywhere in the world. Thailand subscribers receive free domestic shipping and a few extra bonuses. International subscribers receive their letters by standard airmail worldwide. If a letter does not arrive within 4 weeks, write to us and we will send a replacement.
Write to us and we will send another one. We print a small buffer each month for exactly this reason.
Yes. Everything is written, designed, printed, and packed in our small studio in Bangkok.

Inside the envelope
The physical edition, its language and the monthly collection.
Each issue includes one exclusive stamp for that month — twelve designs across the year, labelled with the year, the number and Bangkok. Stamps are never reprinted, so the full yearly set is only available to readers who follow the whole year.
Not at the moment — The Flower Letter is made to arrive by post, as a physical envelope you can hold. Subscribers in Thailand and worldwide both receive the printed letter.
